China Hand Kung Fu Academy has the following ranks for those who study:

This ranking in not traditional, but, was born out of the need for individuals who practice to receive recognition for the "time and effort" put into their study.  Each system has certain requirements for information that needs to be learned to progress to the next level.  In this manner, there is never a question as to what constitutes each level and thereby all students are treated fairly in receiving a rank. 

China Hand Kung Fu Academy awards a sash and certificate at each of the following levels:

All testing is based on merit. Students may advance at the discretion of the instructor based on the length of study and effort applied.  China Hand Kung Fu Academy would prefer to see quality over quantity.  How much you know is not a sign of how good you are.  

Students taking the Registered Students Test for Black Belt 1st Degree should have taught at least one basic form under the guidance of an instructor. This is a requirement.

Certification Testing will be conducted quarterly or as is required. Click below to find the criteria that is applied for each style. Click to the right to find general criteria for testing in all styles.  

Testing is not required, except to advance  from the Basic to Advanced classes, otherwise it is optional for you.
